North Van City Mosaic: Bringing Our Community Together in Response to COVID-19

Thank You for Visiting the North Van City Mosaic

This project was about creating a Mosaic from images of COVID-19 Stories.

It ran from October 2020 to October 2021.

The purpose was to inspire others by sharing their experience of resiliency, cooperation, and hope
and to create a legacy for our communities.

Sorry, the project is now closed to participation but you are welcome to browse the mosaic by clicking on the button bellow.

The North Van City Mosaic is a community public art project developed by the members of the Mayor’s Healthiest Small City Social Resiliency Collective and facilitated by local visual artist Sandrine Pelissier and expressive art therapist Sophie Babeanu.

It was open to anyone who lives, works, or plays in the City of North Vancouver.

Mayor Buchanan’s Welcome to the Project.
